Went to see The Rolling Stones/Scorcese film Shine A Light on IMAX last night – good fun, and the massive IMAX screen and incredible surround sound do the Stones justice.
If you’re a Stones fan, go see this. If you’re not a fan of the greatest rock’n’roll band in the world, the sight of Keith Richard’s famously wrecked visage on a six story high screen will probably send you running for the exit…
The best part (aside from the music, of course) is seeing so many of the small on-stage interactions between the four Stones – they’ve been playing together a crazily long time, they know the whole set list backwards, and they’re still having fun, even if they are old bastards now!
